Hanging leg raise straight legs
Take hold of your bar with an overhand grip, hands about shoulder distance apart, and come into an engaged hanging position. Think about pointing your elbows forwards to keep your shoulders engaged and brace your core, ribs down so you’re not arching your back. Keeping your legs straight, lift your feet up as high as you can, then control to lower back to the start position.
Try to control excessive swinging by keeping your core engaged and move slowly.
Avoid using momentum to get your feet higher like this. Instead, reduce the range of motion so you can control it and build that up gradually over time.
