Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who took time to give me your feedback and suggestions on these 3D pole anatomy videos. I now have an awesome list of pole moves to animate and I CAN’T WAIT to make more of these!

I had MANY a request for a shoulder mount one, so, like magic, here it is!

If you’ve ever wondered why shoulder mounts are so much harder than a basic pole invert – or why your instructor insists you nail your invert before moving on to the shoulder mount – then wonder no more!

Behold the pole dancing skelebob to explain more…

I hope you find it useful and, as always, your suggestions, questions or comments are always welcome! You can find me on Instagram or Facebook too!

If you love nerding about the biomechanics of pole dance, you’ll love my new book Pole Anatomy which breaks down the anatomy of over 60 different pole moves with full illustrations and access to an interactive 3D model library! Come and get your pole geek on!
