Floor angels

Lie on your back with your legs bent. On an exhale, set your core engagement with your ribs down and press your back into the floor. Keep this contact between your back and the floor throughout. Take your hands out to either side, keeping the back of your hand in contact with the floor. Lift your elbows off the floor an inch or so. Slowly slide your hands up – only going as far as you can while also maintaining contact with your back and the floor, the back of your hands and the floor, and while keeping the elbows lifted off the floor. If you lose any of those contact points, reduce the range of motion – especially if your back starts to arch. Just stay within the range you can control.
