Weighted overhead lowers / Resisted o/h lowers / Overhead lowers

Lie on your back on a bench with your legs bent and feet planted. Hold a light weight out in front of you. On an exhale, set your core engagement and ribs down, pressing your lower back into the bench. Slowly raise the weight above your head – as far as feels comfortable and as far as you can control while maintaining core engagement. Don’t allow your lower back to arch away from the bench, keep your ribs down and reduce the range of movement if this happens to a range where you can control it.
